What students are saying:

“I had only practiced yoga three times in my life when I first came to your class. to tell the truth, the previous classes only slightly intrigued me, but your class gave me a thirst for yoga that I had not felt before. Your subtle, gentle ways, the way you challenge us but never push us too far. You truly have a gift. Honestly, you’ve kinda spoiled me. I haven’t found an instructor yet that I like as much as you! It’s also been so theraputic for me, encouraging me to focus on my body & spirit & let go of the outside stresses for at least that one hour, then carry a calmness with me throughout my day.  Thanks Elaina.”

“Elaina’s class is the perfect blend of physical challenge and spiritual attunement. She balances the routines with poses for strength and flexibility. She notices the nuances and gently brings out the best in every student. I always end the class wishing it would go on and on….”
Nancy

“You are obviously dedicated and amazingly self motivated… this shines through the practice you share. I love your enthusiasm to share your yogic journey. You were totally motivating for me to set out on my teaching path. The joy you bring to the mat- the ease in which you guide us- you create a safe space to explore the body with reverence and humor. That perfect line touching the important goals of yoga the finding of divinity within and also allowing space to laugh, try new things, fall over and get back up again. And, its all woven together by your inspiring sweet words that help folks access poses- you use energetic descriptions that allow us to really feel the yoga.
You rock girl!”

“I had always thought of yoga as a way to get strong, before I took Elaina’s class. I still think yoga makes you strong, but it also makes you giving and creative, reflective and able to let go. Elaina sometimes uses words as a focus for all of the poses for the month. She reminds us that where we are is exactly where we are meant to be. In her class i have learned to consider yoga as a practice and as a thing unto itself, instead of a vehicle to get somewhere else. In her class my practice does really create space within myself that wasn’t there before.”
